"In the right place and could not be happier"

About: Sutherland Hospital / TSH Supportive and Palliative Care Clinics (The Sutherland Hospital)

(as a parent/guardian),

Patient. 36 yrs. Severely disabled and developmentally delayed. His mother is his primary carer.

We were referred to the Neurodisability Palliative Care clinic via St George Hospital. From the first conversation with Maria I felt that we were finally in the right place for any information or medical assistance we required.

Maria and Dr Camilla were so easy to talk to and I felt so reassured that being under this Clinic was right for us.

I was tired of trying to find the right doctors for my son as he aged and now we are with the clinic, we have the experience of both Maria and DrCamilla .

We could not be happier.

Dear Carer62,

Thank you for taking the time to let me know of your experience with the Sutherland Supportive and Palliative Care Clinic. It is wonderful to read that you have found the clinic to be the right fit for you and your son. It is reassuring to know that the clinic is able to provide you with the information and medical assistance you need.

We are very fortunate to have this service available and to have such wonderful staff working there. I will make sure that your kind words are provided to Maria and Dr Camilla and I know they will be very please to read them.

I wish you and your son the very best.

Best wishes

Vicki Weeden

General Manager
