About: Lives Lived Well – Carinya Transition House (Wollongong)

(as the patient),

I ended up in Carinya transitional program due to my substance abuse issues (long term). I have participated in the program for approximately 12-13 weeks. I have made major changes in my life with the support that was offered to me by Jess has been life changing. I have a built a great connection with the recovery community. I have participated in many recovery-based groups and have re-integrated back into the community and with my family. I have also enjoyed the day program with Darelle. The ongoing support offered upon completion of the Carinya program will be beneficial for me when I enter the real world. Also the continued support through the day program once I complete Carinya is also very helpful

Dear decemberui81,

Thanks for sharing the positive things that you've found at Carinya Transitional Housing. Well done for sticking with it, and for joining Darelle in the day program. It's a great program and as you say, it will help you navigate your way when you are back in the real world. It's good to see you are starting to integrate with various communities, and also your family. Both of which will be so important when you do leave the service.

Keep up the good work and always remember to call if you need additional assistance. 1300727957.

Kind regards,

LM
