"Oximeter experience"

About: Prince of Wales Hospital / ASB 3S - Community Management Centre

(as the patient),

I had an oximeter set up yesterday to monitor things like blood pressure.

I was with Francis and Jonah—Jonah set up the device and paired it to the phone through the app. It was excellent; I really appreciate it. It was very easy, and they were also very easy to talk to. They set everything up for me, and I used it this morning—it was great, all went well.

I’ll have it for up to six months. I’ve had heart failure before, so this is very helpful. Plus, having someone to contact if I have questions is very important. It’s a great new device, really shows technology working well.

I just wanted to give feedback and say the experience was excellent, and I appreciate it.

Dear pavogq43

Thank you for taking the time to give your positive experience being monitored by the SESLHD Community Management Centre (CMC).

The remote monitoring for heart failure is a great service to allow people to stay healthy in the home whilst being monitored by nurses and medical staff.

It is lovely to see the positive impact both Francis and Jonah have left with you. Your kind words will be forwarded to the both.

I hope you remain staying well.

Kind regards,

Justin O'Hare

Nursing Co-Director, POWH
