"Midwifery Group Practice - Karratha"

I had my first child last week and was part of the MGP program in Karratha. The services provided from day one were amazing. I was hesitant to give birth in a public hospital rather than private but after now experiencing the level of care provided by my midwife, I am so glad I decided to go through Karratha hospital and would recommend this service to anyone expecting a child.

Both my partner and I felt extremely supported from day one and really appreciated being able to call/text our midwife anytime I had a question or concern throughout pregnancy. Having access to free antenatal classes was also really great for us as first time parents to be able to learn as much as possible before our baby arrived.

There are no words to describe the appreciation we have for our Midwife Lea. Being able to have the continuity of care throughout pregnancy, birth and post partum was amazing. She advocated for us and our wishes throughout labour and made me feel so safe and supported and I know I wouldn’t have been able to get through labour without her there by our side. All of the incredible midwives in the team that we dealt with were so kind and helpful and they all made the experience so wonderful for us. I would strongly recommend the MGP Program in Karratha to anyone expecting a child and I look forward to hopefully having another child with them in the future.
