(as the patient),

I want to thank all the nurses and doctors and everyone who helps run the hospital. I just had my appendix removed and am so grateful for all your kindness. Some of the nurses were so sweet and made me feel safe when I was scared and cared for when I needed it. I don’t know your names I’m so sorry but any tenderness shown to me was much needed and appreciated. 

You are angels and I hope that our state leaders provide the funding and resources that you need for the growing population. Thank you from the bottom of me heart.

Coming to hospital for any reason is usually stressful - but having to have emergency surgery can especially cause great anxiety! I am so glad that you felt safe and well cared by the team here during this stressful time.
