"Stay at cohuna Community hospital"

About: Cohuna District Hospital

(as the patient),

I have spent time in cohuna hospital for liver disease and cancer related problems. You feel down when you come in but the staff are so friendly and helpful you automatically start to get a more positive attitude. You never feel like a number or just a job there always asking if they can do anything for you. I don't know what it is but you feel comfortable. They'll always make time to answer questions or to have to share in a laugh. The local doctors are great they listen to you and explain things in a way you understand.

I think Cohuna is so lucky to have such a team in a small regional town.   It must be hard with the lack of facilities that a big hospital has but they make it work. I believe my dr owo is a very caring and compassionate man this will be the third time he's been able to get me going with a better quality of life probably won't be the last but I trust his ability.

One of the key words in your feedback that I'm going to comment on is local. We strive to provide care to our local community. We aim to appoint local staff. Our food is sourced from local vendors. Our large building project is making every effort to recruit local tradies. This enables us to keep services local and to provide care closer to home. I will let our team know about your positive feedback.
