The loveliest team of people I’ve come across in the health system. In my experience, they talk with each other and there’s genuine warmth. You can hear it.
That’s important because feeling stressed that there’s something going on that you have no insight into (other than pain), it’s nice to know that you're in the hands of skilled, intelligent and empathic people. Talk about feeling valued, cared about, cared for. They even had the post procedure sandwich guy make a special for my idiosyncratic needs.
This is all small stuff, when you just want to know you’re not dying or gonna die soon; but it really makes for a trauma-free nice feeling. Most medicine (up to a point) is just bedside manner; this team is fabulous.
