Last week at 10pm my son (age 16) had a medical event requiring immediate care and surgery. He was in terrible pain and was obviously very unwell.

From the triage nurse to physicians, surgeons and after care team (recovery and paediatric ward) they were brilliant, professional caring and supportive. Endlessly good natured, they balanced urgency with propriety and calm, and while I was trying not to wig out they gave me every reason to put my faith in their care.

I only remember a few names - Dr Ramy was attending dr in ED, a good man, Emily was surgeon on call and did a brilliant job and Jodie was the nurse in the ward, the soul of compassion and kindness. All, and their teams to a man and a woman were brilliant. They have my complete confidence and gratitude. Thank you team from the bottom of my heart!

I’d love to add a shout out to Dr Marcus who did the operation. He and his team have provided first rate care and follow up!
