"Routine colonoscopy"

About: Bentley Hospital / Ward 1

(as a relative),

My mum came in for her routine colonoscopy from the lovely nurses Chris and Barb, to the doctors, to the anaesthetists, to the gentleman who pushed mum into the theatre, Mum was abit anxious due to the health issues in the family in the last 18 months, but everyone was warm, compassionate and nothing was too much trouble.

Mum wasn't sure where she was on the list, she asked Chris to phone my brother and let him and my Dad know (who has stage 4 lung cancer) where mum was on the list so that my Dad wouldn't stress out with worry. She did that no questions asked, nothing was too much trouble for anybody.

So a lovely place to have gone to, as well as a good result.

Dear listenpg97,

I appreciate you taking the time to let us know of your mother’s positive experience at Bentley Health Service (BHS).

It is certainly pleasing to know the staff were able to provide such wonderful care and treatment at such an anxious time.

I have passed your kind words to the teams at BHS with my thanks to share with the staff, in particular nurses Chris and Barb.

I know they will be gratified to hear they were able to make a real difference with your mother’s care.

I sincerely wish your both all the best.

Kind Regards,

Ben Noteboom
