"Wonderful experience"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Day Surgery Unit King Edward Memorial Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

From my first presentation at the emergency centre to my discharge following emergency surgery, I was treated with kindness and respect by everyone I interacted with.

I was provided with effective pain relief and the purpose of all procedures and tests were explained to me. I was fully involved in discussions about what was the best way forward for my health and wellbeing. When preparing for surgery the anaesthetic team made me feel safe and cared for at what was a scary time.

I am very grateful that women in WA have such a fantastic place to go, based on my experience.

Dear piscesdp84

Thank you for taking the time to provide this very kind feedback.. I am so pleased to hear that the kindness and professionalism of the Emergency and Theatre teams made you feel so safe and cared for at such a scary time.

At the Women & Newborn Health Service, we are extremely proud of the compassion and care demonstrated by our staff, and we will be very happy to share your appreciation with the teams involved.

Wishing you all the best,

Delaney
