"Unwanted visitor"

About: Ipswich Hospital / Maternity

(as the patient),

After being in the birth suite to be seen by a doctor for early labour, my unexpected guest came in, an ex-relative who worked at the hospital somehow found my name and hunted me down, fair enough the first time was okay it didn't bother me. But she tried to come and see me again, while I was in labour in the birthing room! I believe she spun some story to the midwife that we were related! I made sure everyone knew that I did not want her to be anywhere near me or try to find me! After giving birth the next day she managed to get past the staff and into my room, lucky enough my partner realised who she was and told her to wait outside and we called the nurse! I believe she tried to spin the same story to the nurse, even though the nurse knew exactly who she was. The staff member finally came clean as to who she really was.

I just think its plain wrong that she is using her job to find patients!
