"My Visits"

About: Royal Perth Hospital / Emergency Department Royal Perth Hospital / Renal (Nephrology) & Urology & Endocrine Medicine & Ward 6A/6B/6C

(as the patient),

Over the last 10 months I have had 4 occasions to visit the Emergency Department of your hospital. Myself, my wife and family have been received with kindness and care. We would like to express our thanks for the help your staff administered. Of the visits, I have been taken to a ward, twice to Ward 3 (Cardio) and once to Ward 5 (Urinary). Altogether I had 11 days under the care of your staff. I particularly like to thank Dr Jon for his explanation of my problem and the staff of the ward. Their skill and caring was very evident. Similarly I thank Dr Cara, Nurse Stephen in the Urinary Ward, and indeed all the staff for making my stay as comfortable as possible. They listened and tended to my needs. I would like you to pass my thanks onto Hayley and her troop of physios at the “Cardio Rehab Gym”. They are very caring for all their clients. We wish you and all your staff a happy and safe Christmas period.

Dear kempac,

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experiences at Royal Perth Hospital.

It is never a nice experience to have to attend hospital and to do so, so frequently over the past ten months must have been difficult.

However, it is pleasing to read that you, your wife and family have been treated with the level of service we aim to provide to all our patients and visitors here at RPH.

Staff consider a positive experience as an important part of the care they provide and will value your feedback in ensuring they continue to improve this aspect of their care.

I will be sharing your feedback with the relevant areas as well as with all staff at our regular staff forums.

I hope you are recovering well and once again would like to thank you for sharing your experience.

Dr Aresh Anwar

Executive Director

Royal Perth Hospital
