I am happy to live in an ICLS house and have psychosocial support to help me get out and enjoy my community.
Unfortunately, I experience a nasty disorder that causes severe pain in my upper limbs.
I have a great GP who is helping me find a solution for the pain, after several unsuccessful interventions. I have a nerve block surgery coming up - this is the light at the end of my tunnel - in view of the pain. I really hope this works for me.

My home and my appearance are important to me and I previously had help. This made a big difference to my anxiety and depression. I was not so worried about losing my house because my cleaning standards were poor, as Silver Chain helped me keep on top of things.
Since this intervention was stopped (due to funding confusion and responsibilities) I feel it is an ongoing fight and my mental illness becomes worse.
It has been very frustrating not being able to get my needs met.
I have asked my Case Manager to document my concerns on this opinion site.
