"Palliative care"

I can’t praise the team highly enough the care and attention given to my husband who passed away. The entire time the nurses were calling on him, but in particular his final days, the service was exactly what was needed to keep my husband comfortable. All the nurses were exceptional, but I would like to especially mention two, Sally and Glenda. Nothing was too much trouble for either of them. I have never seen anyone working so intensely to bring my husbands issues under control, there were phone calls to doctors, messages and double checking all the efforts would make my husband comfortable. I was even able to walk away for a little break, as I new he was in extremely good hands. I am so pleased to be able to report: Glenda was able to get my husband’s attacks under control and he passed away peacefully and even able to mouth ‘I love you’ as his last words, surrounded by his family who all loved him very much.

When my husband had passed away, Glenda was even at the hospital still trying to get more medication to assist him to keep comfortable. I was very impressed by Glenda’s and Sally’s dedication for their patient.
