(as a service user),

I felt lost and alone and like addiction would be the death of me!  

I had lost everything and didn't know who I was after years of abuse, bipolar and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). 

I started seeing Kim at Lives Lived Well. As we built a trusting relationship, I was able to be honest about my use, struggles and 'get real' with someone which really helped. Recovery requires honesty and trust.

Thank you for telling us part of your story.

It is great you have been able to 'get real' and develop honesty and trust with Kim at Lives Lived Well. When we develop honesty and trust with another we also develop it with ourselves. It is this foundation that enables us to be persistent in our efforts of recovery. This is great work you are doing within yourself.

I wish you all the best in the days and weeks ahead as you become stronger and build up your confidence to manage each day and what it brings.
