(as the patient),

I unfortunately became quite ill recently whilst on holiday in Exmouth. Late at night my spouse took me to the Emergency Department at Exmouth Hospital. It's only a small hospital with limited facilities but the staff there are wonderful. Nurses Libby and Trish soon made me as comfortable as possible and Dr David, who had only just gone off duty, came back in to determine what my problem was. Unfortunately, their findings suggested that I might have appendicitis so they arranged for me to be flown back to Perth. It was just unfortunate that the weather intervened and I ended up in Geraldton instead!  Wonderful care, thank you so much!

I was so sorry to read of your illness and that your holiday was cut short however so pleased that the team at the Exmouth Hospital were able to assist in your time of need. I understand how stressful it can be when you are away from home and become unwell and require medical treatment and I was so pleased to read that the care you received was of a high calibre.

The team at the Exmouth Hospital prides itself on providing high quality, professional and compassionate healthcare, and this was clearly reflected by your experience. I will take pride in passing your kind words on to the team with a special mention to Libby, Trish and Dr David as I know they will really appreciate it.
