I’m having my baby with Box Hill Hospital. I had very heavy bleeding and in incredible pain, went into Box Hill Hospital Emergency Department with my partner. I’m 20 weeks. We were both very stressed. Waited 4 hours to see the doctor, which we were then told we had to wait to see the gynaecologist. They did not offer any help, nor to do an ultrasound and we were very scared we were losing our baby.
After waiting another hour, we asked one of the nurses how long as we had been waiting hours and scared and the nurse responded: you're not a priority to us.
After waiting 6 hours at the hospital, all that was done was a blood and urine test. The staff treated us so poorly to the extent of tears.
I am so so disappointed that I will be having my baby there. All the midwives and reception staff that we dealt with are nothing but rude.
