We were struggling with our teenage child in the carpark - trying to coax them out of the car to get them into Accident and Emergency (A&E) for assessment and mental health assistance.
This kind, warm and generous lady came to our aid without hesitation. She made our child smile and laugh, coaxed them out of the car, and gave them warm hugs, laughter and reassurance. Our child was too angry and confused to want to engage with us but immediately responded to this genuine, kind and lovely lady. She calmed our child, made a fuss of them and then stayed with us until they settled in the A&E.
We wanted to acknowledge how she went above and beyond for people she didn't know and responded so promptly to people who needed a hand. Selfless generosity and warmth of spirit are so rare nowadays - she absolutely reaffirmed our faith in the kindness of people and the presence of angels who walk amongst us.
Thank you Heather-I hope you read this and know how much we appreciated what you did for us and our child.
