"Birthing at the Family Birthing Centre"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Family Birth Centre

(as the patient),

Olivia was our midwife at the Family Birthing Centre at KEMH and we were more then looked after! From the first appointment we met with Olivia we felt safe, seen, heard and understood and every app afterwards. No question was silly and was always answered in such incredible detail with Olivia’s knowledge. The birth of our son was such an amazing experience with Olivia guiding us the entire way, being a calming and supportive voice from the moment we arrived to give birth. Based on my experience, I would recommend to every woman in Perth to give birth at the Birthing Centre as I believe that there model of care is absolutely unmatched compared to the general hospital system.

Dear indusrq36

It's wonderful to hear that you had such a positive experience at the King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH) Family Birth Centre. I am so pleased that your midwife Olivia was able to provide a supportive and knowledgeable care throughout your pregnancy and birth. It must’ve been incredibly reassuring having her with you every step of the way. We will be delighted to share this feedback with her.

Best wishes

Delaney
