I had the best experience giving birth at FBC. I am a second time mum and could not manage to deliver my first born at FBC, so it was so meaningful to our family being able to this time.
I had the best team of midwives looking after me throughout my pregnancy, involving my first child in each appointment and making everyone in the family count.
The week I was due, my midwife was only rostered for two days but my baby decided to be born the day she was on, at 39 +5.
The six hours I was on active labour at FCB, I can only say I felt safe, respected, guided and well looked after by a beautiful team of midwives to birth a posterior baby that left no tears or damage.
