From start to finish my experience at King Edward Family Birthing Centre was magical. I definitely scored the most amazing midwife (Emily). Her care was tremendous. I felt safe to make the decisions I wanted, questions I had were answered and backed up with evidence and data to support. There was never any pressure to make any decisions. I was informed about everything that was happening. The education provided about everything (feeding, birthing positions, vaccinations, labour) was invaluable. Emily was professional and passionate about her job, I knew my baby was in good hands. The care after birth and follow up appointments were fantastic . All information was clearly recorded and handed over to other team members to ensure a smooth transition. I am so thankful to have had this experience and education birthing my second child. Thank you!
