"Birth of my second child"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Family Birth Centre

(as the patient),

I feel incredibly lucky to have had the support of two wonderful midwives, Saskia and Grace from the Family Birth Centre at King Edward Memorial Hospital. Their calm, professional and truly caring nature made all the difference during the birth of my little girl.

The continuity of care I received was exceptional. Saskia and Grace supported me from pregnancy through to postpartum, even going above and beyond by visiting me at home for some of my prenatal appointments.

After birth, they continued to support me with home visits for postnatal checkups, offering reassurance, expert guidance and genuine care throughout my recovery.

The Family Birth Centre is such a special place, and I’m so grateful for the beautiful experience I had there thanks to this amazing team.

Dear zulucg45

Congratulations on the birth of your daughter and thank for reaching out to share your experience with us. I am so pleased to hear that Saskia and Grace at the Family Birth Centre (FBC) had such a wonderfully positive impact on your journey, and how much you valued the continuity of care model.

We’ll be sure to let Saskia, Grace and the rest of the FBC team know how grateful you are for the care they provided – I’m sure they’ll be delighted.

All the best

Delaney
