The Family Birth Centre - especially the MGP 2 team was everything I was looking for when it came to pregnancy and birth. The level of care was exceptional and I loved how they informed you on certain things and gave you the resources to make your own decision/opinion and never once felt pressured or judged on any decisions made. I felt comfortable and seen throughout the whole journey and even though my birth didn’t end up at the family birth centre, having my FBC midwives made a word of difference, they stood up for me and pushed for the birth I wanted when I couldn’t!

Even the antenatal care was amazing and so helpful, they were always there to reassure and help me especially when it came to breastfeeding.

Couldn’t thank the girls enough and if I ever have another pregnancy, I’ll definitely come back!

Congratulations on the birth of your baby and thank you for sharing your experience with us. It sounds as though you were extremely well supported by your midwives at the Midwifery Group Practice (MGP). I’m sure the team will be thrilled to know how well informed, heard, and reassured you felt throughout your pregnancy and birth. It’s clear their care didn’t end when your baby arrived, with their expertise extending to such valued breastfeeding support as well.

I will be very happy to pass on your appreciation of the service to the Family Birth Centre team.
