"My birth experience"

About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Family Birth Centre

(as the patient),

I received great care at the Family Birthing Centre in Subiaco. My midwives listened to my preferences and supported me in having a natural birth as far as possible. I ended up going into spontaneous labour at 41 weeks and 6 days, which was fantastic.

Because my baby's position and size ended up making the last bit a bit tricky, I chose to be transferred upstairs to King Eddies, but I did not have any pressure from the midwives to do this.

I would highly recommend the FBC for anyone looking for a natural / water birth.
