About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Community Midwifery Program King Edward Memorial Hospital / Family Birth Centre

(as a service user),

I have never felt so supported and cared for like I did with my midwife Mimi from the Family Birthing Centre here in Perth. From my very first appointment through to the birth of my baby, Mimi listened to me, to my fears, and quite literally wiped away my tears when I was feeling overwhelmed at times. I had a rollercoaster of a birth that absolutely would have been a different outcome had it not been for her advocating for me and the best outcome. Phenomenal support both pre-natal and post-natal, from the home visits to the morning teas, I will forever be in debt to her for the support she provided me during the most vulnerable time.

Dear millimeterzd59

Congratulations on the birth of your baby, and thank you for taking the time to share such lovely feedback with us.

I am so pleased to hear that despite the roller-coaster birth you experienced, Mimi was able to advocate for you throughout your pregnancy journey and beyond. I am sure Mimi will be delighted to hear how the care she provided to you before, during and in the following days, was so meaningful.

Best wishes

Delaney
