About: King Edward Memorial Hospital / Family Birth Centre

(as the patient),

We had the pleasure of going through the KEMH birth centre for our second baby and it was a truly wonderful experience.

From the very first catch-up with Vicky, we felt calm and confident in our care team and our care plan.

Having our first son through obstetric lead care and not having the continuity of care with our midwife, we found our second experience with FBC very different.

Having the continuity of care with our midwife, Vicky and the MGP3 team, we felt a lot less anxious going into our second birth. This all transpired with an extremely positive birth that was everything we could have hoped for.

We always felt heard and listened to and are so grateful for all of the care that the MGP3 team provided.

We cannot thank the team enough and would recommend the FBC to anyone looking for midwifery led care
