The iREADI program has been nothing short of transformative for our family. My mum joined nine weeks ago in a place of denial following her Alzheimer’s diagnosis. She has come out the other side feeling hopeful, empowered, and far more at peace than I ever thought possible.
The shift in her mindset has been profound. What once felt overwhelming and uncertain now feels more manageable, and that has changed not only her outlook, but ours as a family.
One of the most impactful elements of the program has been the sense of connection it fosters. Being able to share this experience with others going through something similar has made an enormous difference. As a carer, it has also had a deep impact on me. I feel far less alone, and there is real comfort in knowing there is a community of people who understand.
Christine is truly the backbone of this program. I cannot speak highly enough of her. Her warmth, compassion, and genuine dedication to each participant is exceptional. Of all the medical professionals my mum has encountered throughout this journey, Christine stands out as the most caring and committed to her wellbeing.
I am incredibly grateful for this program and the role it has played in helping my mum, and in supporting me as her carer.
