"Reimbursement of Patients Assisted Travel Scheme (PATS)"

About: Patient Assisted Travel Scheme - WACHS Midwest

(as a carer),

Recently I utilised PATS to travel to Perth for a Medical appointment for my aged spouse.

When I returned to Geraldton I submitted the completed forms for payment.

It has now been over nine weeks and I have still not received that payment in my bank account.

In this day and age why should we have to wait so long for our money to be refunded ?

As pensioners it is not fair to have our money tied up with PATS for this amount of time.
