"Pathology"

I needed bloods taken earlier this week so I thought around 2 p.m. would be a good time as lunch should have  finished. Arriving at 2:00 p.m. I found a note on the door saying that they would be back in 50 minutes. I understand people have to go to lunch (an assumption) but from two o'clock to 10 to 3 ?

This is not the first time. I recall not long ago arriving around 3:30 when the nurse had again left a note on the door and admitted when they got back that they'd been out to move their car closer.

Finding parking near  Ryde hospital is very difficult due to the new hospital being built and as I am elderly the time taken to walk to the pathology department and back is significant. Obviously did not wait for the 50 minutes today and went elsewhere.
