"Neonatal Unit Rockingham General Hospital"

About: Rockingham General Hospital / Maternity, Labour Ward, Nursery and Level 2 Care Nursery

(as a parent/guardian),

I just wanted to come on here to show much deserved appreciation to the nurses, midwives and students that helped look after my son when he was in the NICU at Rockingham General Hospital. The staff definitely make you as comfortable as possible when coming in and out of the ward. They are all very reassuring women and the most kind hearted people you will ever meet!

My son had been transferred from Fiona Stanley Hospital to the Rockingham General Hospital and I was so nervous! But the day we arrived, I had never felt more at ease. I never had to worry about my son when going home at night because I felt like I had known the nurses and midwives my whole life!

 A special thanks to:
-Courtney
-Caitlyn
-Fran (Who I called Irene for the whole 2 weeks I was there and she never corrected me :) )

Dear LTMLOE,

Thank you for taking the time in providing your feedback, it is very pleasing to hear that you were happy with your experience at RGH.

I am very privileged to oversee this hospital and the dedicated staff within the neonatal unit who understand the importance of ensuring all patients always receive the highest of care. Having a child in hospital can be a distressing time for families, especially when transferring between hospitals and I’m glad to hear that you felt supported and cared for during this transition.

It will be with pleasure that I share your gratitude with the unit and members of staff mentioned who looked after your son.

I hope your son has continued to make a full recovery and is doing well.

I sincerely thank you once again for taking the time to share your feedback with us and wish you all the very best for the future.

Kind regards,

Asheila Narang
