My pregnant wife and I went to Fiona Stanley hospital today due to my wife experiencing pain. Unfortunately we was told it was ectopic which can be dangerous. We was seen straight away, several doctors , surgeons and nurses where there all day for us to help us though the difficult time , explaining what our options. We ended up choosing to go with the surgery which was scary for the both of us but the care from the hospital staff was amazing couldn’t have asked for more! A special mention to the surgeon who came and sat with us and talked to us in detail explaining exactly what was going on before carrying out the surgery, I think his name was Jim. And the after care from the coordinator nurse (can’t remember her name but she was amazing) who helped us with the after care couldn’t be more grateful for such nice people to help us though a bad situation!
