I felt it took way too long to get help at the pain clinic. Attempted 6 times waiting for them to decide if they wanted to help me for severe scoliosis and nerve pain/damage.
A friend intervened and got me an intermittent procedure from a cosmetic injector then I still had to make 2 complaints for a proper procedure from the pain clinic to reduce my pain.
I couldn't get information on the process or plan and it seemed they would get angry when I asked. I was only offered phone calls by the physio and told to do group physio but no one could explain what that was or how it would help, and the OT only offered yoga.
I paid for a private OT who had to ask the pain clinic OT to help with aids because they wouldn't provide them when I asked multiple times (I still never got them). I had to get a physio through another hospital.
I kept asking for a neurologist referral and was met with silence then would be asked if I had seen a neurologist yet... ? This happened multiple times. I had to discharge because I didn't feel safe. No accommodations were met, no explanations or questions answered. Most traumatic medical experience of my life I ended up with CPTSD. I felt that I wasted 18 months with these people for one procedure.
