FBC provided with absolutely fantastic care all throughout my pregnancy. The midwife taking care of me was very thorough, caring and approachable.

All the midwives I've come to contact with were clearly very well trained and passionate about what they do.

The appointments were on time, so no waiting around to be seen. All my options were well explained and choices supported.

In the end I had a perfect delivery, having the same midwife all the way throught meant I was comfortable and I trusted her when she guided me through it. The space itself is very homely and cosy, while knowing the hospital is right there if you need it.

Designated parking spots were a huge bonus, as I couldn't imagine anything worse than worrying about the parking when in labour!

I would like to extend my congratulations to you and your family on the birth of your baby. It is wonderful to hear that you were able to build a solid foundation of trust and rapport with your midwife in the Family Birthing Centre (FBC), which led you to feel confident throughout your pregnancy and birth.

I am pleased that the antenatal care you received allowed you to explore all of your options and resulted in such a perfect delivery. The FBC aims to provide patients with every opportunity to partner in their care with access to a team of dedicated midwives.

At the Women and Newborn Health Service (WNHS), we aim to provide excellence in healthcare to women, newborns, and their families, and your kind feedback shows that we achieved that goal for you and your family. I am delighted to hear that your birth was an enjoyable experience.
