About: The Townsville Hospital

(as a parent/guardian),

I have had 4 elderly family members attend The Townsville Hospital in the last 6 months and I wish to congratulate every nurse, doctor, surgeon, cleaner, orderlies and ancillary staff member. We are so very pleased with the care our family members have received. They have been treated with such professionalism, kindness and dignity. We have been in many wards- ED, med 2, 3 & 5, sub acute, cardiac care, and attended your clinics.

And what about your wonderful volunteers - they are priceless. God bless you all.

It's never easy to be visiting hospital but we appreciate that everyone is doing their very best and it does matter. Many thanks.

Feedback like yours will provide a real lift for our dedicated and caring staff who are committed to deliver the best care possible. I appreciate that the last 6 months of coming to hospital with your elderly relatives must have caused considerable stress in your lives. It is uplifting to know that your experience was made easier through the kindness, professionalism and dignity provided to you and your family members by our great staff.

I will be delighted to share your story with our staff and their managers from ED, Med 2,3 & 5, sub-acute, cardiac care, clinics and our wonderful volunteers.
