"Surgery and recovery at Box Hill Hospital"

About: Box Hill Hospital

(as a relative),

My elderly mother had scheduled surgery at Box Hill Hospital to deal with incontinence related issues.

The surgical admissions staff including the clerks, nurses, surgeon and anaesthetist were all very reassuring and supportive.

The surgery went well but my mother was kept in Box Hill Hospital for several nights for observation and to help her recuperate. The ward nurses, the obs and gyn doctors, the occupational therapist and the ancillary staff were all very friendly to my mother, and looked after her extremely well.

All in all a worrying time for my family was made much easier by the committed staff at Box Hill Hospital.

Dear PatRel

Many thanks for sharing your story on Patient Opinion, it's great to receive such positive feedback. Feedback like your serves to remind us about what we do well and I will take great pleasure in passing your feedback on to the staff, their managers and the Box Hill Hospital management team too.

I hope that your mother is continuing on her road to a full recovery and it's really nice to read that the extra time in hospital helped her recuperate, as well as noting your very kind comments on the committed staff. They will be chuffed to read your feedback no doubt.

Thanks again for taking the time to provide your feedback. I really do appreciate this and it certainly helps us recognise the great work being done every day by our committed staff.

Kind regards and best wishes, Alan Lilly.
