"Excellent work."

I have been reading various stories about Eastern Health, at Patient Opinion, on the Internet, as I enjoy reading these real life stories.

Most of them show that EH have caring and devoted staff, which is hard to find in a hospital environment today, and the values of kindness, respect and excellence that you would like your staff to adhere to, are very valuable and rare today.

I loved reading the replies that you wrote to people, and my thought was, that you genuinely care what people think and how they feel, about the hospitals at Eastern Health and you really do try to help them.

I have attended, but not recently, some of the EH hospitals at the Angliss and Box Hill and Knox private for myself and other family members, including my parents, and the most recent being at Knox Private, last year, when unfortunately my husband suffered a heart attack.

We were grateful for the care we received from all of the hospital staff, not only for him, but also for myself, to help me through that very difficult time, and I can't forget the caring hug and kind words of comfort that I received, from one of the cardiac nurses, when I just broke down in tears.

I hope all your staff continue the excellent work that they always do.
