"Road Maps program"

About: Lives Lived Well – Dubbo (Roadmaps)

(as a service user),

For my adult life there has been only a bit over 5 years that I have not been in jail or on parole and I'm now 42 years old. I've tried rehabs before but never lasted.

Road Maps staff are the first people that I have been honest with because I am sick of the drug life and I want help, I want answers.

I think that bringing the Road Maps program to small rural communities is very positive, small towns usually miss out. I have made big efforts to turn up and participate each week. My advice for Road Maps and the people that provide the funding is to never give up on anyone.

It doesn't matter if it only helps one person. That one person is worth it.

I manage the process of writing reports for the organisation's funding bodies, administer the client data system and prepare and analyse client data for reporting purposes.

Hi small town.

Thank you for taking the time for sharing your experiences and thoughts about the Road Maps program. I am glad your experience was a positive one, and I will make sure the team at Road Maps get your feedback.

Your experience with residential rehabs is one of the reasons why the program was developed - to give people the option to seek treatment in their home town.

I share your concern about small towns missing out on vital services, and hopefully this program goes some way to plugging that gap in the Dubbo/Orana region.

If you require further support, or would like to speak to one of our staff, please feel free to give the team a call.

Best of luck on your journey,

Josh
