"Mental health treatment"

About: Maroondah Hospital / Mental Health Adult Inpatient Units (IPU1 and IPU2)

(as the patient),

I feel I was not cared about, pushed me out of IPU1 after 3 days. I'm not important to them is what I feel, twice I've been failed, please if you're not ready, speak up, which I could. I put in a complaint and someone called, but what do I say anyway?

Dear greengc85

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent experience in the inpatient unit at Maroondah Hospital.

I’m sorry this has been your experience and would encourage you to discuss this further with your case manager or at the next follow up appointment you may have with the clinical team.

An alternative to this is if you would like to contact the Eastern Health Centre for Patient Experience either on 1800 EASTERN or feedback@easternhealth.org.au and we can then discuss this with you privately to seek a better understanding of your journey and experience in more depth.

I hope you are returning to good health and wish you all the best.

Kind regards

David
