"Both of my parents entering Regis Burnside"

It was a short but sweet stay for my dad who unfortunately went straight from hospital to Regis and I do feel his admission was not as professional as it could have been, through not fault of the staff or home, but due to too many family members in my dad's room on admission. The poor lady had to deal with family coming and going, so she didn't know if she was Arthur or Marther. So because of this my dad's problems were not discussed properly and I felt his needs were not met. He needed very high care and it was not the case, he went down hill very fast and the staff did do their utmost best to make my dad feel comfortable.

On the other hand my mum has never looked so good in a long time. The staff are fantastic, loving, caring, the other residents are friendly and the staff keep them busy all day long, so they are not stuck in their rooms getting bored. My mum cannot fault the staff or the care or the food. Everyone is happy and pleasant!

My Dad did pass after 3 weeks of his stay and the care and support my mum has received has been of utmost consideration from staff right through to management. So thank you. I could name names but if I forget someone I'll feel bad.

So thank you to all of you for making my mum feel so comfortable and safe and happy 💖
