"Antenatal and ultrasound clinic staff"

About: Royal Hospital for Women / Maternity Outpatients Royal Hospital for Women / Medical Imaging Department

(as the patient),

I found the staff at both the ultrasound and antenatal clinic to be rude and unhelpful. When I took a day off work to get a scan done the staff at the ultrasound clinic refused to see me as my referral letter from my GP was not worded correctly. I offered to quickly go and pick up another letter and be back in 15 minutes however they continued to refuse and stated I would have to rebook. I called my GP and asked the staff to speak to her over the phone but they did not want a bar of it. I asked to be rescheduled but they stated they were unable to see me that day, even though the waiting room was empty. I just felt like the staff did not care at all that I had organised a day off work to do this scan and they ruined what should have been an exciting, happy day for me. I will definitely never go back there as I don't believe anyone should be treated like this.
