"Treatment For Reoccurring Breast Cancer"

About: Kerang Hospital

(as the patient),

Over the last month I have been receiving chemotherapy treatment at Kerang Hospital Oncology. I find the staff to be informative, caring and empathetic to my needs. Every time I walk in the oncology unit, the nurses seem happy to see me and are always bubbly and welcoming. The oncology unit has many positive affirmations decorating their walls which makes me feel empowered to continue my journey. The nurses are happy to answer any questions I have about my cancer and are reassuring but to the point.

Dear Breast cancer survivor,

The oncology team discussed the Positive Affirmations idea with the Quality team and some consumers before they chose the current format. It was quite a process, and so I am really thrilled that you took the time to comment on how these statements make you feel, and that they help you forwards on your journey.

Thank you for your comments which I will pass on to the oncology team.

Kind Regards

Chloe
