Hi, I went to the Emergency Department at Box Hill Hospital and I was seen very quickly, triaged to fast track and saw a physio for my complaint - which was a sore back. The one suggestion I have is for a more orderly triage process.

The Physio was excellent - calm, professional, assessed me and got me on my way. It was great to not take up the doctor's time and also to see an expert in the specialty I needed - musculo-skeletal. I have never heard of a physio working in an ED and was impressed that BHH had been so innovative and proactive - and no I am not a physio. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback on Patient Opinion. It is terrific to be able to receive such direct feedback. I am very pleased to hear that the physiotherapist in the Emergency Department was able to quickly treat your back and that you saw the right health professional in such a timely way. We are committed to providing a multi-disciplinary service that meets the different health care needs of patients presenting to Emergency Department and it is terrific that it worked so effectively in your case.

Thank you also for your feedback about the triage process and whilst we aim to make that as orderly as possible we don't always get it right. I will provide that feedback to the Emergency Department.
