To Whom It May Concern

I want to take this opportunity to congratulate and express my deepest and enormous thanks to the wonderful, caring staff of The Sydney Eye Hospital located in St George Hospital, Chapel Street. 

My husband and I have been under their care for several years. They continue to show so much love, respect, are hard working .. working long hours; and for so many years (under terrible premises in rear demountable). It's amazing that the main St George Hospital has spent such a lot of money to update and do major extensions to their main buildings in Gray St; while the Eye Clinic has to make do with this ancient accommodation ... leave alone the amount of patients, who give the doctors and administrative staff, such a bad time.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your experience in the Eye Hospital in Chapel Street.

I was very pleased to hear your very kind comments about the staff that work in the Eye Hospital. Whilst no thanks is expected, it was lovey to hear your feedback. I will ensure this is passed on to the staff.

I understand that the facility is aging and St George Hospital has a development plan in place to ensure an update of all facilities.

I do thank you for taking the time to write and share your experience. St George Hospital is committed to improving the service we provide to patients and their families.
