I came into the Emergency Department a number of weeks ago with my son who has had a long term problem with with drug addiction. I won't name us. My son had decided to give up all narcotics and other drugs. He came home and we are helping him through the process. I brought him in when he was ill from stopping drugs and he was sick with belly pain and vomiting. He lost so much weight. We thought he was going to die. I want to thank the staff especially Dr Nilanthi and the nurse Stephan who both looked after us. It was a difficult night for us. He was unwell and in a lot of pain. She was so beautiful to him as were the nurses and all the staff. I could see the love and concern in their eyes...we wanted to bring in some choccies, but she had gone. My son rarely talks to strangers. He loved her so much. Please convey our thanks and I am grateful to have found this feedback site. We hear mixed things about your ED. But we love you for your kindness to us. Thank you for your kindness to my son. He is alive today and will have his own orchard. Thank you.
