"The right help to make PATS easy"

About: Patient Assisted Travel Scheme - WACHS Great Southern

(as a parent/guardian),

I have many trips to Perth from Albany over the years for my daughter's medical condition and never have I had PATS work properly - it is always the wrong form, wrong time, wrong desk, wrong bit of paper, wrong doctor... just no success getting through the 6 steps of a PATS claim.

I had the amazing help of one staff member, Cindy, who explained everything simply and made it easy for me to claim and lodge the paperwork. Without her help, I would not have even bothered and been out of pocket again. One caring and supportive staff member makes a big difference.

Dear Mum9

We always appreciate hearing these stories of our staff. Thank you for taking the time to contribute.

It is unfortunate your experience to date has not been as smooth as it should be. Our PATS team endeavor to support patients through the paperwork journey within PATS. The PATS process can be daunting with the requirements of a number of contributing parties.

Many thanks for contributing your feedback and it will be shared with the PATS team as they all strive to make a difference for all patients.

Regards

Juan clark
