My husband is here in excruciating pain - and in the past 6 hours we have listened to this 74 year old woman complain / abuse and threaten staff.
She has been moved twice, just to be accommodating to her but in reality it’s to look out for the rest of us that are here in various levels of pain or attending our loved ones.
This one lady has managed to alienate a whole ward - but yet the nurses have been nothing but exemplary in their treatment of her.
Her room was too cold
No one was talking to her
No one made her a cup of tea
The man with a broken hip was not in pain enough and she needed attention more .
Bravo to the nurses of the River award Overflow !!!
