"Broome Maternity Ward"

About: Broome Health Campus / Maternity/Midwifery

(as the patient),

Excellent midwives, however too much conflicting and contradictory information. Midwives must be trained to provide the same advice for consistency.

Midwifery Group Practice is an asset to Broome’s expectant mothers.

Dear giftpb45,

Thank you for taking the time to share your story on Patient Opinion and for acknowledging the dedication of our midwives.

We are very fortunate to be able to offer two models of care for our mothers and babies, both Midwives Group Practice and hospital based care.

I am sorry to hear that you have received conflicting information from the midwives and understand this must have been frustrating for you.

I would like to assure you that we genuinely appreciate your feedback and will use this to strengthen communication between staff and our patients and their families.

Kindest regards.
