We have been in Perth Children's Hospital for two weeks. Almost every day we are seeing people with shocking coughs in the clinic areas, in the main atrium and entering the wards.
It would be great to see a stand at each entrance with hand gel, masks and a banner asking people who are sick to please wear a mask and use hand gel entering and exiting the hospital, the ward and clinic.
When I’ve been sick in the past I have stayed home and FaceTimed my teenager several times a day.
I know not everyone can leave their child alone and may not have family close to be with them, so please consider wearing a mask.
41 flu related deaths in WA alone! It's quite scary for cystic fibrosis families.
