About: Busselton Cancer Services Clinic

(as the patient),

Soon after our Mesothelioma diagnosis and the commencement of treatment we were contacted by Kim from Busselton Cancer Services Clinic. She has been a lifeline over the last eighteen months. The small day-to-day problems have been adequately dealt with, between Specialists visits, and she has been a great comfort.

We fail to see how that can be maintained if the number of staff are cut. There are large numbers of people who have to deal with cancer everyday, who I’m sure are reliant on a friendly voice, on the phone offering advice.

Dear februarygb36,

Thank you for your wonderful feedback about Kim in her role with the South West Cancer Nurse Coordination service, I will make sure that she receives your feedback.

Kim is one of a number of cancer nurses working within the WA Country Health Service South West, along with a range of other service providers that assist patients like yourself living with cancer and families through this journey.

We are continuing to deliver clinics in Busselton both face-to-face and via telehealth. Jacqui the Cancer Nurse Coordinator and manager of the service would be pleased to accept a call from you to assist with any needs and is best contacted on 0427 446 028.

Kind regards,

Cindy Stainton
