"Wonderful bedside manner"

About: Fiona Stanley Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I was referred by a GP to Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) Emergency Department for a suspected kidney infection. The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) who treated me was particularly kind and listened to all my concerns in a non-condescending way. I am thankful to him for comforting me while I was feeling incredibly unwell. I feel he is a credit to FSH.

Dear statusff53,

Thank you for taking the time to provide such positive feedback. We are proud of the service we provide and really appreciate hearing from patients.

Our staff aim to provide safe, patient-centered care, so I was pleased to read that the treatment provided to you was delivered in a professional and caring manner. Taking the time to understand the individual needs of patients is one of our key priorities. I have shared your kind words with the Emergency Department staff.

This is the kind of service we strive to achieve for every patient, every day and it is wonderful to hear your experience reflected that.

Kind regards,

Neil Doverty
